Luxury Hotel In Sussex

The East Sussex National Hotel is set over three levels with 104 bedrooms, including 10 luxury suites and 2 bridal suites. You’ll find all rooms are tastefully dressed and include luxurious en-suite bathrooms with both a walk in shower and bath. Air-conditioning comes as standard as does a wall-mounted flat screen LCD television and full Internet access. Some rooms have their own balcony with breathtaking views across the golf course. Our open-plan restaurant is cool, stylish and above all else welcoming, eating with us is an exercise in good taste – literally! We provide a variety of menus containing mouth-watering starters, mains and desserts and while you’re enjoying your food, you can marvel at the magnificent views across our famous golf courses.

Championship Golf Courses

There’s no better way to experience the majesty of the East Sussex countryside than by playing a round of golf at ‘The National’. We welcome everyone who wishes to spend time on our spectacular courses. Our meticulous attention to detail and clubhouse facilities, which are amongst the finest in Europe, make the game even more enjoyable. Both our championship courses were designed by Robert E Cupp, one of Jack Nicklaus’s course architects, with major championship golf in mind. At the time of construction, our East Course was the first of its kind in the country to be galleried – even those not playing feel the superiority of our courses as they offer unrivalled spectator appeal.

Golf Academy in Sussex

The Academy has some of the finest practise facilities in Europe. The facilities include a 13 acre driving range, with open grassed and covered bays, greenside and fairway bunkers, pitching and chipping areas, three putting greens and a championship standard three hole academy course. The Academy is the practice venue for Tour Professionals, of which former US Open champion Michael Campbell is one, as well as the coaching base for the EGU and County Junior squads, and the SCLGA Winter Training squad.

Horsted Health Club

All hotel guests can take advantage of our superb Horsted Health Club situated on the ground floor, with its own coffee and juice bar. Technogym equipment, including a 50-station gymnasium, offers a range of cardio vascular and resistance equipment. Two further studios, one for spinning and one for aerobics, offer a variety of classes including pilates, boxercise and taichi. The Health Club has a spectacular 20m pool complemented with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
We allow Children access to the Swimming Pool facilities only on certain days and times.

Horsted Spa

Whether you're simply popping in for a quick swim or indulging in a full spa break, let relaxation wash over you in our impressive spa. Feel any stresses melt away in one of nine individual treatment rooms. Each room utilises mood-enhancing colour and healing light and can offer specialist body and beauty treatments. Nine treatment rooms are available, which include a twin bedded VIP Room, and most have slate-lined individual showers to permit total exclusivity for the discerning client. In addition to the treatment rooms, there is a heat experience where a sauna, a Moroccan Mud Rhassoul, a Salt Vapour Room and an Aroma Room have been provided, plus two invigorating Monsoon Showers. A seven-bed Relaxation Room provides the ultimate in tranquillity. As part of the Hotel complex, Spa clients can also make use of the luxurious 20 metre heated indoor swimming pool with additional steam, sauna and Jacuzzi facilities.

Sussex Wedding Location

The hotel provides the perfect setting for a memorable wedding. Think champagne reception in the rolling grounds and a wedding breakfast set in the grand ballroom, or the more intimate first floor Lynx suite with panoramic view of the South Downs. For those wishing to get married on-site, we have a civil licence that enables you to have the entire day under one roof – convenient, cost effective and a day that you’ll cherish forever.

Conferences, Exhibitions and Banqueting

The East Sussex National Golf Resort and Spa offers the perfect venue for your all your conference and exhibition needs. We have an impressive variety of rooms that can cater for all your banqueting needs.

Our location means we are well served by major road links and are just 40 minutes drive from Gatwick, one of the country's largest airports, making us accessible as well as exceptional. Our aim is to provide the best facilities and service, and offer the flexibility to tailor make your meeting requirements.

We have an array of rooms and suites available within the Hotel and Clubhouse complexes. Hotel – our Lynx Conference Centre is a multi-functional space that not only provides great adaptability, but also the latest technology. The Roundall a 19m diameter room sitting alongside the five individual suites, is capable of seating 220 delegates theatre style and can also be encompassed within the five suites to form one hall, whilst our large ballroom, The National Suite on the ground floor, can seat 500 theatre style. All rooms do, of course, offer other room configurations.

Clubhouse – another ballroom capable of seating 160 theatre style, which can also be split in two to form the Half Ballroom and the Committee Room. The Founders room is perfect for a smaller meeting for 25 delegates.
