Two stunning championship golf courses in the heart of Sussex.
A centre of excellence awaits you at East Sussex National Golf Club, already enjoyed by enthusiasts across the world, experience for yourself the stunning combination of natural beauty and man-made perfection.
Our meticulous attention to detail and clubhouse facilities, which are amongst the best in Europe, make the game even more enjoyable.
Both our championship courses were designed by Robert E Cupp, one of Jack Nicklaus’s course architects, with major championship golf in mind. It’s no wonder that the club staged two European Opens and played host to some of the world’s leading players including Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Colin Montgomerie, Nick Price, John Daly and Ian Woosnam.
The playing surfaces measure up to, or exceed, the finest courses in the world. Special bentgrass varieties were developed to meet the local soil and weather conditions.
With golf cart tarmac paths following the fairways all the way round both courses; there are 150 yard markers to the centre of the greens on all fairways and the teams of starter/marshals help to keep up the pace of the play.
All the ‘little extras’ that separate East Sussex National from ordinary golf clubs. You feel immediately welcome at bag drop where your clubs are taken to the service area ready for your game when you are, and are then cleaned on completion of your round.
Our friendly staff will hand you your scorecards and inform you of any rules of the day.
Enjoy the luxury of the changing rooms with wood panelled lockers, marble-clad power showers and even a sauna to loosen up any tense muscles. Our locker room attendant will supply you with fresh towels.
