2015 Calendar of Events

Competition Rules 2015

 

2015 Seniors (Thursday) Medal/Stableford Competitions will be a combination of tee-times and show & go entry, competition can be entered in the shop with the last card at 3.00pm, cards must be posted in  the letter box near Service hatch by the entrance to changing rooms in the club house. Any cards not received will be deemed as non-returned.

 

2015 Gent’s (Wednesday) Show & Go Mid-Week Stableford  Dates & courses to be played will be confirmed

Entry in shop all day with last card at 17.30, cards must be posted in  the letter box near Service hatch by the entrance to changing rooms in the club house. Any cards not received will be deemed as non-returned.

Entry will be £3.50. Blue Tees.

  • Daily  Mail Foursomes Qualifier – Results  - Jordi & Nigel Southgate win the qualifier with 37 points, with Stuart Catton & Alan Ratcliffe 2nd with 36 points. Stuart Catton & Alan Ratcliffe qualify to represent the Club as any players playing in knock-out stages must be 18 on 1st January.

XMAS TEXAS SCRAMBLE RESULTS  – Stuart Catton, Nigel & Alisha Philips and Pat Dowe win the scramble with an incredible 57.1

(as at 22.01.15 at 22.56) Start Sheets will be uploaded on the Monday preceding the competitions, any updates will be loaded on the Friday. Any gaps in play will be adjusted by shop on the morning of the event.

 

CHAIRMAN’S LADDER INFORMATION – entry now open to 150 players

2014/5 Gents Chairman’s Ladder – Peter Azizi won a closely contested match with Jon Ogden to take top spot in the ladder on the 18th.  John Ogden’s consolation was to record only one of three 2′s to gain a sharing of the pot. The ever consistent Stuart Silverlock, is nicely positioned to defend both ladder and league, sitting in 3rd and 2nd spots respectively.

The big guns are stacking up behind the front two, Alan Ratcliffe (7 to 5) , Chris Beech 8, Malcolm Clear 18 to 9 with the former Model & Rugby Star, Stuart Catton, moving up from 16 to 13.

The biggest move of the week was Alistair Keith, 82 to 64, Alistair untangled himself from the trees on the 17th to win a close match against Mick Ray. Yehia Oweiss the other big mover from 65 to 50.  

Russell’s Fryer remains 2 points clear in the league.

George McAllister, Jon Ogden and Mark O’Hara had 2′s paying £86.67 each. 

Prizes down to 8th in both ladder and league, with only 1 prize per player, so much to play for.

56 players attended with 106 registered.

2014/5 Ladies Chairman’s Ladder – Clare Kunz leads the Ladies Ladder after week 6 defeating Sue Farrant in the top match. Sue Farrant continues to head the league points leaderboard by 2 from Clare Kunz. On the move this week were Carol Baker (20 to 15 )  Annette Shelford (16 to 10) & Judith Dingle ( 5 to 3)
